Milk Crate Mafia (MCM) is a high-energy acoustic rock cover band based out of Virginia Beach, VA who specialize in putting their own spin on well-known tunes. The core of the band are Chris Korkalo (Ukulele, Vocals) and Andy Rabiner (Guitar, Vocals), both seasoned veterans of the Virginia Beach music scene, who pull from an incredible rotation of percussionists, bassists, and drummers to scale up as the situation dictates. From 2-man acoustic, to 3-man acoustic with added percussion, to 4-man (acoustic or electric) with full drum kit and bass, MCM provides solid entertainment to keep the crowd engaged and enthused.
MCM's philosophy is to have fun while providing a quality product, and they believe this positive energy translates well to audiences. The band brings professionalism with them to every performance, leaving no detail unturned, and always has the customer's satisfaction in mind. MCM is constantly adding to an already extensive crowd-pleasing song list, which encompasses over 50 years of music in a variety of genres.
STANDARD LINEUP - ACOUSTIC
Acoustic 2-man is our standard lineup - Andy on guitar and Chris on uke. By varying our song selection, it can range from a chill-lazy-summer-afternoon-at-the-oceanfront, all the way to a throw-em-down-bar-scene. Don't let the word 'acoustic' fool you, as song selection plays a major factor in how we roll.
EXPANDED LINEUP
When we need to go bigger, we know some people, good people who are fantastic musicians. So we can scale up to 3-man or full band and fill out the sound with bass and/or percussion, cajon, or full drum kit. Options are good.
